At Home Instead, our visits are at least an hour long. No rushing, just real, meaningful care that makes a genuine difference to someone's day.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be supporting older adults with things like:
- personal care and mobility
- Preparing meals and hot drinks
- Light household tasks to keep their home safe and comfortable
- Companionship, conversation and a friendly face
- Some visits may include more personal health-related support — we provide full paid training for all of this, so no experience or medical background is needed
No Experience? No Problem!
We’re looking for people with the right values and attitude.
For example:
- Have you cared for a loved one or supported a family member?
- Are you someone who can chat easily and make others feel at ease?
- Do you enjoy helping people and making a difference in someone’s day?
Hours:
Hours will vary whilst we build our client base, with a mix of:
- Morning shifts: 07:00–14:00
- Afternoon shifts: 14:00–21:00
- Alternate weekends required

Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- Right to work in the UK
- Full driving licence and access to a car
- Clear English and good communication skills
- A warm, patient and caring nature
