We’re hiring software engineering interns across multiple teams within Onshape. Specific projects and responsibilities will vary by team. Your Impact Contribute to the development of Onshape through hands-on software engineering projects. Depending on your team, your work may focus on user-facing functionality, infrastructure, or performance improvements. Your Team You’ll join one of Onshape’s engineering teams and collaborate with developers on projects that support and enhance our cloud-native product development platform. Your Day-to-Day: Develop and improve software features and functionality within Onshape. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to design and implement solutions. Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback. Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs in new and existing code. Basic Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++. (Specific language requirements may vary by team.) Ability to learn new technologies and work within a large codebase. Experience with geometric computation is a plus for certain teams. PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the hourly range for this position to be between $32-$36. The actual pay may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship.
