Job Title Head Cashier (Full-Time) About This Role: What You’ll Be Doing: Responsible of ensuring a high level of customer service; Training all cashiers on point of sale, customer service and checkouts procedures; Completing ordering and replenishment of checkout merchandise (including tobacco and lottery); Responsible for opening and closing the store on a rotating basis; Ensuring compliance of all checkout policies on a daily basis; Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed; Ensuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organized; Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed; Ensuring compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery; Opening and closing the store on a rotating basis; Resolving customer complaints quickly and professionally. What You’ll Bring: Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; Excellent customer service skills; Supervisory experience an asset; Attention to detail; Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail environment. When You’ll Work: A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
