Senior Flight Readiness Technician (Level C or D) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Flight Readiness Technician (Level C or D) to support our T-7 Operations Team at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. The T-7 Flight Readiness Technician will perform routine final component installation and verification, as well as systems operational functional validation testing. Flight Readiness Technicians perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery, and troubleshooting. Position Responsibilities: Identifies problems and coordinates follow up communication with support organizations for problem resolution Provides technical support in problem identification for pre-flight and post-flight checks, inspect and document non-conformance with high complexity Performs inspections of flight test installations and aircraft functional testing Inspects pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and documents faulty components Conducts pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs inspections of maintenance and modification actions Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products Verifies the accuracy of work performed Assists in performing system & sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery Plans, schedules and arranges daily activities with the assistance of lead Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret – Interim Pre-Start & Final Post Start which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift 3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience 3+ years of avionics and/or electrical experience 3 years’ experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active Security Clearance FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
