Job Description: Winchester Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board Certified or Board Eligible General Surgeon to join our team on a per-diem basis. Provide exceptional surgical care and call coverage in a collaborative community hospital setting backed by the strength of the Beth Israel Lahey Health network. Key Responsibilities Surgical Coverage: Perform elective and emergency general surgery procedures. On-Call & Inpatient Care: Provide surgical call coverage, rounding, and inpatient consultations. Emergency Department Consults: Evaluate and manage acute surgical cases presenting to the ED. Patient Management: Deliver comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative surgical care. Collaboration: Partner with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff. Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR system (Epic).
