As a property and casualty insurance agent, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help sell general insurance products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices. You promote and sell property and casualty coverage to individual clients. You analyze member/client needs and use your persuasive skills to help them choose the right coverage. You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures. You help develop and maintain business relationships, analyze member/client needs and develop custom solutions. You help develop solutions using your analytical skills and discipline-specific knowledge. The ability to learn quickly and use technology effectively is essential. You assist current and potential members and clients. You represent the organization and help negotiate agreements with clients.
