Must be able to commit to three 8 hour shifts in a 2 week pay period throughout the school year and summer. Must be able to work day or night shift. If offered a promotion to RN, we consider the intern role to be an investment in RN orientation so we are seeking December 2027 grads who have top interest in a future RN position in the NICU. Future RN opportunities in the NICU would be either straight nights or a day/night rotating schedule (6 weeks on each shift) so must be comfortable committing long term to working nights. Likely 6+ years to get to day shift in the NICU due to the size of unit and team. I Targeting start date of January 4, 2027. If hired, you will be required to attend a New Hire Welcome session on that date from 8a-3p. If you have class/clinicals on that date, you'll need to make alternate arrangements with your school/faculty. Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs nursing tasks for which he/she has been trained and has demonstrated competency through a skills checklist. Senior level status in any nursing program required. Ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions relating to basic patient care and transport.
