Summary/Objective
The Sourcing Manager will work directly under the supervision of Vice President of Account Management. The Sourcing Manager will actively manage the hotel and ground transportation procurement process for our existing client relationships. In this role, responsibilities include creating hotel market analyses, identifying industry trends, sourcing multiple destinations, negotiating with hotels and ground transportation providers and tracking financials on excel.
Essential Functions
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues or disputes.
- Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Recommend strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop procurement policies and schedules; train and supervise the team.
- Build supplier relationships and inspect supplied materials and services.
- Negotiate supply and transportation pricing.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for key markets, defining negotiation and supplier strategies.
- Serve as the team's sourcing subject matter expert, supporting complex negotiations and best practices.
- Provide strategic analyses and recommendations to leadership, leveraging market insights and performance data.
Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- At least 1 year travel industry experience, working closely with airlines and/or hotels is a must
- Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products especially Excel
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- English, Portuguese and Spanish fluency (oral and written)
- Customer service skills
- Flexible to work afterhours based on business demand
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality work is a must.
- Ability to understand and work with diverse culture here and abroad.
- Organized self-starter who can effectively manage workload in a fast paced atmosphere and be able to accomplish goals.
- Able to multi task and work well under strict deadlines.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
