We currently have an immediate opening for a full time Apprentice Millwright/Service Technician in our Edmonton, AB shop location. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Work in a safe manner, follow overall company safety program Follow instructions and have strong mechanical sense Disassemble, clean, and inspect rotating equipment and related components with a focus on gearboxes and power transmission equipment Measure using micrometers, verniers, and other precision measuring tools Work in a team environment to efficiently achieve a high standard of quality and service to Applied’s extensive customer base Other tasks as required Preference will be given to candidates who possess some or all the following qualifications: Apprentices with relevant shop experience Energetic and focused personality with willingness to learn High level of attention to detail Ability to prioritize and number of tasks and complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines. Ability to use verbal skills to effectively communicate technical information. You will be part of a stable and established company with consistently strong performance and growth.
