We are seeking an experienced Welding Inspector professional with strong Oil & Gas background for reputed Company in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding inspections in accordance with approved project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.
Inspect fit-up, joint preparation, root gap, alignment, and welding activities.
Verify compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
Check welder qualifications and ensure welding is performed by approved welders.
Monitor preheating, interpass temperature, and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT), where applicable.
Conduct visual inspection of completed welds and identify defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete fusion.
Coordinate with NDT personnel for radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing, as applicable.
Review welding drawings, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and method statements.
Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and raise non-conformance reports when required.
Ensure compliance with project QA/QC requirements and applicable safety procedures.
Salary & Benefits
• Salary: Basic SAR 3,000 – 4,000 per month

Minimum 5 years of relevant welding inspection experience.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
CSWIP 3.1 or CSWIP 3.2 certification is mandatory.
Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or refinery projects.
Gulf experience is preferred.
Candidates with relevant home-country experience are eligible.
Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with construction and quality teams.
