Southampton - Quilter House, United Kingdom

Customer Service Administrator.

CONTRACTFINANCE & LEGAL
About the Business About the Role Level: 2 Department: Platform – Quilter Business Services Location: Southampton Contract Type: 6 month FTC starting in January Joining our Tax Year End operation, you will provide customer service and administrative support during one of our busiest periods of the year. You will help us manage increased customer and adviser demand by ensuring requests are processed accurately, efficiently and within agreed service standards. This is an entry-level role where you will receive structured training and support to develop your knowledge across our products, systems and processes. As your experience and competence develop, you may have the opportunity to learn additional processes and support different areas in response to changing customer and business needs. This six-month Fixed Term Contract is a great opportunity to start or develop your career within Financial Services, build valuable transferable skills and experience working within a large customer operations environment. No formal qualifications are required, and full training will be provided. Each role makes an important contribution to both our customers and the wider success of Quilter. You will complete a range of customer administration activities using our systems, documented procedures and training. Depending on your allocated area, this could include supporting pensions, investments, money-in, money-out, transfers or other customer servicing activities. You will be responsible for processing customer and adviser requests accurately and efficiently, maintaining clear records and preparing correspondence where required. The role will also include telephone and email contact with customers and financial advisers. Once trained, you will work towards agreed quality, productivity and service standards, taking ownership of your allocated workload and responding positively to coaching and feedback. Delivering good customer outcomes is central to the role. You will follow established procedures, protect customer information and recognise when something falls outside your knowledge, training or authority. Where this happens, you will ask for support or escalate appropriately rather than making assumptions. You will need to remain flexible as priorities and volumes change throughout Tax Year End, working collaboratively with colleagues to help customers receive the right outcome as efficiently as possible. About You You will be organised and able to prioritise your workload, work accurately and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment. You will have strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable learning and working across different systems. Previous administration or customer service experience would be beneficial but is not essential. You will take personal responsibility for producing consistently high-quality work, following processes and raising questions or concerns when something does not look right. You will be open to feedback and motivated to continually develop your knowledge and capability. You will be adaptable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Most importantly, you will bring a genuine focus on helping customers and contributing positively to the wider team. Our purpose is to help the generations of today and tomorrow to prosper. Whatever your role, you will play a part in delivering good outcomes for our customers Inclusion & Diversity We value diversity and strive to promote inclusivity in all aspects of our culture.
