Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: Monitors, maintains and repairs the electrical distribution system including the lighting system, backup generators and related equipment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs preventive maintenance of all building electrical equipment, making repairs as necessary. (65%) Responds to service and emergency calls regarding any facility electrical issue and/or device. (20%) Performs electrical work related to construction. (10%) Must demonstrate personal accountability for knowledge and application of DOH, Joint Commission, ICRA and National Electric Code requirements. (5%) Performs other duties as assigned or required. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Must have prior experience as a registered electrician working with commercial or institutional electrical systems.
