In this fully remote role, you will manage cases from initial reporting through evidence gathering, analysis, and final recommendations. You will collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Finance, and other business functions to establish facts and determine appropriate corrective actions. Your work will help strengthen ethical standards, manage organizational risk, and promote accountability across multiple regions. You will also prepare evidence-based reports, communicate case progress to stakeholders, and present findings to senior leadership when required. This opportunity is ideal for a highly discreet, analytical, and independent professional who can navigate sensitive matters with integrity and sound judgment.

Accountabilities

    • Lead and manage investigations into potential violations of laws, regulations, and internal policies raised through established reporting channels.

    • Conduct comprehensive investigations, including interviews, risk assessments, document reviews, evidence collection, and evaluation of relevant information.

    • Collaborate with Compliance, Labor and Employment, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to assess findings and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

    • Prepare clear, thorough, and evidence-based investigation reports documenting allegations, investigative procedures, findings, and conclusions.

    • Provide regular case status updates to relevant business stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and appropriate handling of sensitive information.

    • Present investigation summaries, key findings, and recommendations to senior leadership and other relevant decision-makers as needed.

    • Monitor assigned cases to ensure timely resolution and adherence to established investigation procedures, standards, and requirements.

    • Partner with Compliance, Ombuds functions, and cross-functional teams to identify emerging trends, share relevant insights, and support investigations across multiple regions.

    • Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality throughout the investigation lifecycle.

    • Contribute to a consistent, fair, and effective investigative approach that reinforces ethical conduct and organizational accountability.

    • Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

      • Solid professional experience in compliance, legal affairs, investigations, auditing, or a related discipline.

      • Fluency in both Portuguese and English, with the ability to conduct professional discussions, review documentation, and prepare reports in English.

      • Demonstrated personal integrity and the ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and potentially high-risk matters with discretion and respect.

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate evidence, identify inconsistencies, assess risks, and reach well-supported conclusions.

      • Ability to make independent decisions, manage competing priorities, and coordinate multiple investigations in a fast-paced environment.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, stakeholder management, and presentation of complex findings.

      • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, seniority levels, and geographically dispersed teams.

      • Experience coaching or guiding stakeholders and communicating sensitive findings constructively.

      • Nice to have: Expertise in Legal, Finance, Quality, Sourcing, or other related business functions.

      • Nice to have: Experience working within global, matrixed organizations and supporting investigations across multiple locations.

      • Nice to have: Proficiency in Spanish.

      • Benefits

        • Fully remote work arrangement.

        • Full-time employment opportunity.

        • Opportunity to work on sensitive, high-impact compliance matters within a global organization.

        • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Finance, and senior business leadership.
