The role offers opportunities to explore AI-powered development tools, apply modern engineering practices, and influence product decisions through measurable results. Join a globally distributed team that values collaboration, creativity, continuous learning, and meaningful customer impact.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality features for core iOS applications, ensuring compatibility across a range of Apple mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, refine concepts, and deliver intuitive, customer-focused mobile experiences.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, stability, and usability while identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks and software defects.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and product experiments to improve user engagement, customer satisfaction, and key business metrics.
  • Continuously improve application architecture through refactoring, technical enhancements, and the adoption of modern iOS development practices.
  • Establish, maintain, and promote high standards for code quality, maintainability, reliability, and engineering excellence across the team.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests at appropriate levels, including unit, integration, and instrumentation testing, to ensure product quality and prevent regressions.
  • Stay current with emerging iOS technologies, growth and personalization tools, and AI/ML developments that can improve engineering productivity and product innovation.
  • Contribute to efficient development and release processes by leveraging version control, CI/CD practices, and established App Store deployment workflows.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, share technical knowledge, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with teammates to continuously improve engineering practices.
  • Requirements:

  • At least four years of professional experience developing and maintaining commercial iOS applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Swift and working knowledge of Objective-C.
  • Practical experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, and Storyboards for building responsive, intuitive, and accessible user interfaces.
  • Experience with Swift Concurrency, including asynchronous programming concepts, and familiarity with multithreaded application development.
  • Strong understanding of protocol-oriented programming, object-oriented programming, and SOLID design principles.
  • Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, and other native development technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and instrumentation testing to maintain application reliability and quality.
  • Practical knowledge of preparing, releasing, and maintaining applications through the Apple App Store.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated development workflows, along with proficient use of Git and version control best practices.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use experimentation, performance indicators, and customer feedback to guide technical and product decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail, an eye for design, and a commitment to building polished, reliable, customer-centric applications.
  • Fluency in English and the ability to communicate technical ideas effectively within an internationally distributed team.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks and delivering value efficiently.
  • A collaborative, growth-oriented attitude, including openness to feedback, a willingness to share knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for using AI technologies and coding assistants to enhance productivity, code quality, and innovation, as well as curiosity about emerging AI/ML technologies and their practical applications.
  • An updated resume translated into English is required for consideration.
  • Benefits:

  • Monthly compensation: USD $5,880–$7,350, with the final amount determined by relevant skills, experience, and other permissible, non-discriminatory factors.
  • 100% remote work for candidates residing in Brazil.
  • Paid holidays and flexible, take-as-needed scheduled time off.
  • A MacBook provided and configured from day one.
  • A $500 workspace stipend to help you create a comfortable and productive home office.
  • Equity opportunities in a rapidly growing startup backed by leading venture capital investors.
  • A collaborative, innovation-driven culture that welcomes ideas and encourages contributions from every team member.
  • Opportunities for professional development, technical growth, and career advancement within a globally distributed team.
  • A supportive working environment focused on meaningful customer impact, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
