    • Develop and execute tailored onboarding plans aligned with individual client needs and business objectives.

    • Guide clients through the setup of accounting, payroll, and virtual service platforms.

    • Assist clients with state identification registrations and applicable financial and payroll compliance requirements.

    • Review and optimize historical client information, including bookkeeping records, payroll data, tax filings, and financial statements.

    • Identify discrepancies and coordinate appropriate adjustments, amendments, or corrective filings when necessary.

    • Communicate proactively with clients by email, text, and phone to collect documentation, clarify requirements, and ensure onboarding milestones are completed on time.

    • Collaborate with sales, account management, and other internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions into ongoing services.

    • Perform quality assurance reviews to verify compliance standards and confirm that clients are properly prepared for recurring services.

    • Document onboarding trends, recurring challenges, and client needs to support continuous process improvement and enhance the overall client experience.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong client service capabilities with practical knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting operations. You should bring the following qualifications and experience:

      • Minimum of 1 year of client onboarding experience.

      • Knowledge of or familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll, or accounting processes.

      • Ability to anticipate client needs and recommend appropriate products and services.

      • Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when supporting clients remotely across the United States.

      • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.

      • Comfort working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide clients through complex onboarding requirements.

      • Additional qualifications that would be an advantage include:

        • Previous account management experience.

        • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

        • Bilingual communication skills.

        • Experience with CRM platforms, Xero, small business services, or client service operations.

        • Benefits

          • Annual salary range of $62,800–$94,200, depending on experience, education, skills, performance, and work location.

          • Potential eligibility for additional earnings through incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans.
