Position Summary: The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. Required Qualifications Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required. Current Ohio license or interim permit. *Experience in relevant care setting preferred. Additional Information: 11 East Doan is 27-bed unit in the Acute Care Department. We care for a wide variety of patients. However, we specialize in patients with medical issues that range from acutely ill to long term illness and disease management. On our unit, nurses work directly with attending physicians to deliver optimal care in a team-centered environment. 11 East Doan is a wonderful place to learn and grow. Our nursing practice is staff-driven through our Unit Leadership Committee and Evidence-Based Practice. Our team is passionate about staff development and advancement.
