TOTEME is a fashion house rooted in Swedish sensibilities, modern aspirations, and the notion of style.
With an appreciation for how pieces are worn in practice, we create emblematic designs with an emphasis on materiality and shape. Archetype pieces are realized in authentic materials, rich textures and graphic silhouettes. Representing a direct and decisive way of dressing, the collections are contextualized in curated edits, visuals, and spaces.
TOTEME was founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman. From the atelier in Stockholm, we create women’s and men’s collections spanning ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories, and jewelry.
The Role
TOTEME is looking for a People Operations Generalist to join our team in Stockholm full-time for a 1-year cover for one of our team members who is going on parental leave. In this role you will focus on People Operations in Europe with emphasis on our growing Retail organization.
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of People support for European Store Managers and selected first-line Leaders at HQ
Support the Regional Retail Manager with day-to-day people matters across the European retail organization
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance, absence, policies and other day-to-day people matters, escalating more complex cases to their manager
Coordinate payroll input and act as liaison with local payroll providers across relevant European markets
Support employment compliance and ensure local People processes and documentation are maintained appropriately
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
Coordinate and support in Retail recruitment
Maintain accurate employee data and documentation in the HRIS (HiBob)
Identify opportunities to improve and standardize People Operations processes across Europe
Partner with the wider People team to ensure consistent global People practices.
Your Profile
Relevant higher education within HR, People & Culture, Business Administration or a related field
A couple of years of broad experience within People Operations/HR
Experience from working with payroll, Comp&ben coordination
Experience from a retail organization or other similar international, multi-site environment
Good knowledge of French employment practices and HR requirements
Knowledge of other European markets
Right to work in Europe
Fluent written and spoken English and preferably also French.

This is a full-time parental cover position based at TOTEME's HQ in Stockholm with starting date in the beginning of February 2027.
TOTEME has teams in Stockholm, London, New York, and Shanghai, as well as retail spaces across Europe, North America, and Asia.
