The Difference You Make: The Associate, Product Development is responsible for executing the strategic product development process focused on bringing new products to the market and enhancing existing products across multiple asset classes and global distribution channels. Handles medium scale project/product ownership. Leads development phase by conducting applicable product research and cost/timeline management. Partners with sourcing team for sample review and factory requirements. Crosses functional project management between, Product Management, Inventory Management, Product Designers, Quality Control, Legal and Supply Chain. Serves as internal product expert to assist product management in presenting new products to merchant teams. Curious, creative, and a demonstrated willingness to assemble/disassemble, use, interact with, and understand the inner workings of products. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and project management skills. Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing priorities and prioritize deadlines. Strong project management skills. Demonstrates the ability to translate customer needs into marketable product features. Passion to improve processes, increase velocity, and promote collaboration. What Else You Need To Know: The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
