Exciting Opportunity at MSK:  We’re looking for a Clinical Nurse to join the Koch Diagnostic Imaging (Outpatient) Team! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering comprehensive patient care, applying your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatments in outpatient for MRI, Nuclear Medicine and CAT Scan.  Role Overview:  As an integral member of the Koch Diagnostic Imaging (Outpatient) Team, you will deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing: MRI, Nuclear Medicine and CAT Scans.  Work collaboratively with other members of the radiology team. Provide clinical support to staff members and be involved in obtaining IV access and administration of radiologic contrast agents. Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education and symptom management. Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care to patients throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.  Key Qualifications:  New York State RN license and BSN 1.5 – 2 years of oncology experience preferred Diagnostic Imaging experience and IV skills highly preferred BCLS, ACLS required Core Skills:  Productive and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and passion.  A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that maintain high standards of nursing care within the organization.  Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged, using both formal and informal development channels.  An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and driving communications based on that understanding.  Capable of building strong multi-disciplinary relationships and delivering patient-centric solutions.  Additional Information:  Hours: 4x10 hour shift Monday through Friday flexed from 6:30am to 6:30pm with Weekend Rotation.
