What You'll Do In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Directs the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at client sites. Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained. Schedules personnel responding to critical situations. Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design department’s attention. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. SUPERVISOR - SCOPE: Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Management reviews work to measure meeting of objectives. Directs the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance and engineering change upgrades to be performed at customer sites. Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained. Attends meetings, prepares, and presents material that report to management on the state of the business. COMPLEXITY: Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action. DISCRETION: Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules. INTERACTION: Frequently interacts with subordinates, outside customers and functional peer groups at management levels. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules. SUPERVISION: Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors. Acts as advisor to unit and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in technical field or business administration and 4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
