Our services organization maximizes the value of our customers' KLA assets – with highly trained service and product support engineers providing installation services and 24/7 technical support and parts delivery through our extensive supply chain network. What You'll Do In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise. Job Responsibilities * Provide on-site and remote technical support to KLA customers for complex equipment issues, including hardware, software, and process-related problems. * Perform routine and preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, and modifications on KLA tools to ensure peak performance and customer uptime. * Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals. * Collaborate with engineering to resolve critical technical issues and provide feedback for product improvements. * Document all service activities, technical findings, and resolutions accurately and thoroughly in KLA's service management system. * Conduct customer training on equipment operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting procedures. * Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional communication, timely problem resolution, and proactive support. * Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards in a cleanroom environment. * Participate in on-call rotations and travel to customer sites as required, potentially including international travel. Job Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field. * Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, including metrology, inspection, or lithography tools. * Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, vacuum systems, optics, and software. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. * Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. * Flexibility to travel frequently (up to 50% or more) and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. * Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). * Experience with data analysis tools and statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.
