Under the supervision of experienced laboratory colleagues, you will assist with:
- Receiving, labeling, and preparing samples for laboratory analysis
- Weighing, homogenizing, diluting, and preparing samples according to laboratory procedures
- Preparation of solutions, reagents, and basic laboratory materials
- Supporting routine chemical analyses
- Handling basic laboratory equipment and instruments after appropriate training
- Recording laboratory data and results accurately
- Cleaning and maintaining laboratory glassware, equipment, and working areas
- Monitoring stocks of laboratory consumables and materials
- Following laboratory procedures, quality requirements, and health & safety rules
- Supporting laboratory technicians and analysts in their daily activities
- Active student status, preferably in chemical engineering, chemistry, food technology, biotechnology, agronomy, pharmacy, environmental sciences, or a related field
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
- Interest in laboratory work and analytical testing
- Careful, precise, and responsible approach to work
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
- Good organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently after appropriate training
- Previous laboratory experience is welcome but not required
