- Department: Interventional Procedures Lab includes: Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-Call Requirement: Approximately 9–10 call shifts per month
- Weekend Call: Every third weekend
- Must live within 30 minutes of the Huntley Hospital
- Preference given for previous experience in:
- Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
- Interventional Radiology
- Electrophysiology
- Invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, electrophysiology, and vascular interventions.
- RCIS certifications a plus
- Prior experience using EPIC EMR a plus.
The Interventional Radiology Technologist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards
- The Interventional Lab Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing digital imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Under general physician supervision, functions in scrub and circulating roles.
- Performs image reconstruction/processing.
- Assists with Interventional Lab patient preparation, transportation, and recovery as necessary.
- Provides call coverage as scheduled.
Required:
- One year of Interventional Labs (Cath lab or IR lab), or Critical Care experience.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Graduate of accredited radiology school-RT (R).
