This role leads the development and curation of the Americas (AMER) regional assortment for Street-Sport Inspired (SSI) wholesale accounts. Working within a collaborative, cross-functional team, you'll partner with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Planning to translate global product direction into compelling, account-relevant assortments informed by consumer trends, marketplace insights, and business priorities. You'll play a key role in shaping seasonal assortments, strengthening wholesale partnerships, and driving commercial performance across the SSI marketplace. This position reports directly to the Director, Merchandising, Footwear & Wholesale. Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Curate the AMER regional assortment for Street-Sport Inspired (SSI) wholesale accounts, translating global product direction into differentiated assortments that reflect consumer demand, account needs, brand priorities, and commercial opportunities. Drive regional business insights through analysis of sales, margin, inventory, sell-through, consumer behavior, marketplace trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and inform strategic assortment decisions. Serve as the merchandising lead within the SSI wholesale team, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Planning to align seasonal priorities, account strategies, product storytelling, financial goals, and go-to-market execution. Partner with wholesale accounts and Sales teams throughout key seasonal milestones, including line reviews, account meetings, sell-in preparation, buy reviews, and launch planning, ensuring assortments are compelling, relevant, and commercially viable. Influence global product direction by providing regional and account insights to Global Product Merchandising, identifying assortment gaps, emerging opportunities, marketplace risks, and future product needs. What do you need to succeed? We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you'll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5 to 7+ years of experience and professional achievements. The foundation skills you will need in this position are: Strong merchandising experience within footwear, apparel, or a related consumer-focused industry, ideally with exposure to wholesale accounts, assortment segmentation, or marketplace differentiation. Strong understanding of the street-sport inspired consumer, wholesale marketplace, competitive landscape, and emerging product trends, including the importance of account differentiation and segmentation. Commercial and financial acumen, with experience leveraging sales, margin, sell-through, inventory, and account performance data to identify opportunities and inform merchandising decisions. Proven ability to collaborate and influence across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, and Global teams, translating diverse perspectives into aligned seasonal priorities and actionable plans. Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to confidently articulate merchandising strategies and recommendations to wholesale accounts and cross-functional partners. There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred. Experience working with major athletic, streetwear, or lifestyle wholesale accounts, including exposure to seasonal sell-in processes, account assortment planning, or marketplace strategies.
