Lift Operations Supervisor About the Role The Lift Operations Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for the daily operation, staffing, safety, guest experience, and performance of Woodward Park City’s lift operations team. This position leads approximately 10–40 seasonal employees and ensures safe, efficient, guest-focused operations. This role works closely with the Mountain Operations (Tubing) Supervisor to coordinate staffing, safety, daily priorities, and guest-service needs, and provides operational support within tubing when business needs require. Coach, train, and provide performance feedback to employees. Manage staffing and scheduling based on weather, guest volume, and operational needs. Lead daily briefings, safety meetings, and operational training. Ensure lift operations follow established safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and company standards. Partner with the Tubing Supervisor to coordinate staffing and operational coverage. Provide hands-on support within tubing and other mountain operations when needed. Address guest concerns and model a high standard of guest service. Support timekeeping, workforce tracking, and required operational documentation. What You’ll Bring Previous leadership or supervisory experience. Experience leading employees, managing schedules, and supporting daily operations. Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills. Ability to use scheduling systems and basic computer programs. Ability to adapt quickly to changing weather, staffing, guest volume, and operational conditions. Ability to work collaboratively across lift, tubing, and other mountain operations. Work Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying and potentially severe weather. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and extended hours as operational needs require. Ability to move between lift and tubing operating areas as needed.
