Job Description: In today's digital landscape, enterprise data is both a strategic asset and a digital product. Its accuracy, consistency, and timeliness are essential not only for operational excellence and successful ERP integrations, but also for enabling advanced analytics, GenAI, and Large Language Model (LLM) initiatives. This role will lead the strategic management of Mars' global data quality portfolio while supporting large-scale integration activities across complex legacy ERP environments. Reporting in partnership with the Data Quality & Governance organization and working closely with Integration Management Office (IMO) leaders, Master Data Councils, Business Process Owners, Regional Stewards, and Technology teams, you will drive enterprise-wide data quality improvements, governance adoption, and data cleansing initiatives that directly contribute to the success of the Mars Snacking integration roadmap. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. 10-12+ years of experience leading Master Data Management (MDM) and/or Data Quality initiatives across multiple data domains in complex multinational organizations. Strong understanding of data quality dimensions, data governance principles, data lineage, and metadata management concepts. Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise data quality monitoring, profiling, cleansing, and governance solutions. Hands-on experience with SAP data models, including Product, Customer, Vendor, and Finance domains. Experience with SAP Data Services, Information Steward, or comparable data quality and ETL platforms. Familiarity with SAP integration patterns and large-scale ERP transformation programs. Demonstrated success delivering technology-enabled solutions leveraging automation, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value. Experience managing external partners, system integrators, and technology vendors. Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are advantageous. What will be your key responsibilities? Data Quality Strategy & Governance Lead and govern the global portfolio of data quality rules, standards, and monitoring capabilities across global, regional, and segment-specific domains. Partner with Global Data Councils, Business Process Owners, and Master Data teams to identify, prioritize, and govern Critical Data Elements (CDEs). Translate enterprise data standards into scalable, systemic data quality controls and business rules. Drive the adoption of common data quality tools, governance frameworks, and operating processes across the organization. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality rules, governance standards, and deployed solutions. Integration & Transformation Enablement Act as the primary Master Data Quality representative supporting Mars Snacking integration initiatives and major ERP transformation programs. Conduct data quality assessments across legacy systems and identify risks that could impact integration milestones and business continuity. Design and coordinate data profiling, cleansing, and remediation plans to ensure data is fit for purpose ahead of critical integration activities. Collaborate with IMO leaders, enterprise architects, and technology teams to support successful data migration and harmonization efforts. KPI Management & Executive Reporting Define and align data quality KPIs with Global Data Councils, Business Process Owners, and MDM Service Managers. Lead the development, deployment, and ongoing governance of dashboards and reporting solutions that provide visibility into enterprise data health. Monitor compliance against agreed standards and drive accountability through partnerships with Regional Stewards and business stakeholders. Communicate data quality performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to executive leadership and governance forums. Data Cleansing & Continuous Improvement Lead enterprise-wide data cleansing initiatives focused on improving accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance across master data domains. Partner with regional teams to prioritize remediation activities and address root causes of recurring data quality issues. Promote a "First Time Right" culture by identifying opportunities to improve business processes and prevent data issues at the source. Leverage automation, AI/ML, and emerging technologies to improve anomaly detection, monitoring, and predictive data quality capabilities. Technology & Solution Leadership Define business and functional requirements for current and future data quality solutions. Partner with technology teams to continuously enhance the enterprise data quality ecosystem. Develop business cases, value assessments, and ROI justifications for strategic data quality investments. Manage third-party partners and system integrators responsible for delivering technical solutions and project outcomes. Data Stewardship & Organizational Enablement Enable and coach Business Process Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Champions on data governance best practices. Facilitate data lineage mapping, business glossary development, and metadata management activities within enterprise data catalogs such as Collibra.
