Perception Test Lead – Husqvarna Robotics – Husqvarna Group.

SENIOR LEVELDATA & ML
Last date to apply: 16 November 2026 Do you enjoy hands-on technical leadership where you will set the verification direction, prioritise the team's work and take responsibility for test deliveries, while working closely with developers, system engineers and other test teams? In this role, you will lead and support the team working with technologies such as computer vision, cameras, AI-based perception, depth estimation and and similar perception sensors, ensuring that they perform reliably in real-world environments. Role Description As Perception Test Lead, you will take ownership of how we verify Perception, from setting the overall test direction to prioritising and coordinating the team's work. You will work hands-on with our robotic products, combining physical testing with automation, simulation and sensor data to understand performance, identify issues and find root causes. Together with development teams, you will turn technical challenges into effective testing, communicate results and risks to stakeholders and help evolve our test methods and capabilities. You will also: Translate requirements, system behaviour and technical risks into effective test strategies and test cases. Combine testing on physical robotic products with automation, simulation and recorded sensor data. Communicate results, risks and readiness to stakeholders. Continuously improve our test methods, tools and automation capabilities. Your profile We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding complex technology and turning technical challenges into something that can be measured and verified. You are comfortable working hands-on while keeping the bigger picture in focus, setting priorities and providing direction to others. Most importantly, you want to own a technical area and influence how it is verified, rather than simply execute an existing test plan. You have: At least 5 years of relevant experience within testing or development of perception, computer vision, robotics, autonomous systems or similar embedded products. A relevant university degree within engineering, robotics, computer science, electronics or a related field. Experience with computer vision and camera-based systems, such as object detection, classification, segmentation or depth estimation. Experience with test automation and scripting, preferably Python. Strong hands-on experience with Linux and ROS bag. A good understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software integration. Fluency in English is required, while Swedish is an advantage. Location Huskvarna. We believe the best ideas happen when we are connected. We spend most of our time together in the office, creating space for collaboration, creativity, and fast decision-making.
