Role focus
We are seeking a highly driven and structured Business Operations Manager to support the leadership of our Go-to-Market Team and help shape and execute our Go-to-Market ambitions. The Commercial Stream covers a broad portfolio including Marketing, Partner & Ecosystem Management, Customer Success Management, Enablement & Academy, Sales Operations, Big Deals, Go-to-Market Cooperations, Strategic Alliances, and Marketplace.
This is a highly dynamic role at the intersection of strategy, execution, communication, and organizational development. You will work closely with Commercial Leadership and the respective functional teams, support strategic initiatives, prepare top-management decisions, coordinate cross-functional activities, and step into emerging topics wherever additional structure and leadership attention are required.
Your primary mission will be to increase the effectiveness of the Commercial organization by creating transparency, driving alignment, accelerating strategic initiatives, and ensuring that management priorities are translated into concrete actions and results.
Key responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership Support
• Support Commercial Leadership in developing and executing the overall Commercial and Go-to-Market strategy.
• Act as a strategic sparring partner by structuring key topics, challenging assumptions, developing recommendations, and preparing management decisions.
• Drive selected strategic initiatives across Marketing, Partner & Ecosystem Management, Customer Success, Enablement & Academy, Sales Operations, Big Deals, Strategic Alliances, G2M Cooperations, and Marketplace.
• Translate strategic priorities into clear initiatives, deliverables, ownership, milestones, and implementation plans.
Executive Communication & Top-Management Preparation
• Create top-management presentations, decision documents, and management updates, including stakeholder input gathering, storyline development, key messaging, and high-quality visualization.
• Prepare leadership meetings, steering committees, reviews, and decision sessions and ensure effective tracking of decisions and follow-up actions.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Execution
• Coordinate priorities, activities, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across Commercial sub-streams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bring structure and governance to new or emerging topics, remove blockers, and accelerate execution of critical initiatives.
Organization, Resources & Performance Management
• Support FTE, resource, budget, capability, and organizational planning, including target structures, roles, responsibilities, and operating models.
• Support KPI definition and tracking, strategic planning, governance, reporting, and management routines across the Commercial organization.
Workshops, Onsites & Stakeholder Management
• Prepare and facilitate strategy workshops, leadership sessions, and team onsites and translate outcomes into clear actions, owners, and timelines.
• Coordinate external partners, consultancies, strategic alliances, and cooperation initiatives where required.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, business development, commercial management, project/program management, or a Chief of Staff role.
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Technology Management, or a comparable field.
- Strong strategic, analytical, structuring, and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset.
- Excellent PowerPoint and executive communication skills, including management storylines and visualization.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
- Experience working with senior executives in complex, international, and fast-paced environments.
- Confidence working with KPIs, budgets, FTE planning, organizational topics, and strategic initiatives.
- High degree of ownership, flexibility, discretion, and ability to work independently across changing priorities.
- Cloud, technology, platform, or B2B experience is a plus.
- Professional fluency in English; German is a plus.
