Ziegler CAT Rental has an opening for an Power Rental Inside Sales Representative who is a motivated self- starter and customer-driven to join our equipment rental team. This role will partner with the sales team to grow existing customer accounts, facilitate lead generation, and qualify leads generated through proactive outbound calling on prospect customers and other indirect channels. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a winning attitude and has a passion for helping customers find the right equipment and offering solutions for their challenging applications. Key Responsibilities: Serve as sales lead for select rental products including power generation <125 kW, compressed air <400 CFM, Heaters <400,000 BTU, ACs <30 Ton, and dehumidifiers Contact prospective customers through outbound calling to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms Complete all required sales documents including preparing, presenting, and following up on rental quotes, contracts, and certificates of insurance Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support territory growth goals Coordinate rentals\ requests for internal teams or departments Qualify leads and effectively hand-off to outside reps if appropriate Work with operations to coordinate equipment availability and delivery schedules Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Assist in resolving customer issues and ensuring satisfaction throughout the rental process Stay informed about product offerings, pricing, and industry trends to effectively support customers Work within and promote company vision, mission, and values of the organization including pursuit of and continuous growth in the Ziegler Way Habits Support call center after hours and on weekends by periodically serving as an on-call resource Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or equipment rental preferred Experience with outbound prospecting, inside sales, call center operations, or business development preferred Effective communication and interpersonal skills Strong computer knowledge and ability to learn new systems quickly Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment Personal characteristics: Strong customer service and communication skills, achievement oriented, planning / organization skills, problem solving, collaborator Travel: Less than 10% travel Minimum Physical Qualifications: Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. The total compensation range (hourly pay plus incentive) for this position is $49,900 – $73,900 Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, and education.
