Job Title Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer Job Description Sr Supplier Quality Engineer Responsible for achieving a state of high-quality performance at our Supplier partners and pursuing continuous quality improvement through the application of Quality Engineering practices on Philips products/parts/services procured from suppliers throughout the product lifecycle including sustaining change management. Your role: Analyze supplier-related defects, determine root causes, initiate appropriate supplier notifications, and drive corrective actions using quality tools and problem-solving techniques. Support end-to-end supplier performance management, including supplier quality investigations, improvement initiatives, and development activities to strengthen quality and operational performance. Provide quality support to Quality Receiving Inspection (QRI) and manufacturing operations, ensuring components consistently meet required quality standards. Execute Part Submission Warrant (PSW) activities, line releases, supplier change evaluations, and internal change assessments to ensure compliance with form, fit, function, and quality requirements. Ensure Critical to Quality (CtQ) requirements are effectively communicated and maintained, while assessing new suppliers’ technical capabilities and leading supplier improvement efforts. You're the right fit if: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. 5+ years of related engineering experience, preferably within the medical device or another regulated industry, with broad experience in engineering functions. Advanced English proficiency and strong statistical knowledge, with solid expertise in Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement techniques. Experience working directly with suppliers; ISO 13485 Lead Auditor, CQE, and CQA certifications are desirable. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is an office role.
