Position Summary Samsung Taylor is seeking experienced technicians to join the PCS (Pump, Scrubber, Chiller) Department. An ideal candidate is hands‑on, has a technical mindset, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, improving all equipment, processes, and systems used in UV wafer manufacturing. The technician will partner with Engineers, Production, and Quality to execute preventative maintenance (PM), change‑point management (CPM), failure analysis, and process rework while remaining compliant with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) protocols. This role requires a blend of deep technical skill, analytical thinking, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For: Perform routine PM activity on pump exhaust systems and perform qualification of equipment after maintenance. Use Standard Operating Procedures to troubleshoot and repair seals found as leakers. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, unit part technicians and support group counterparts to ensure compliance to external and internal quality standards and to meet quality goals. Conduct exhaust PM, perform Pump Changes, and troubleshoot chillers while navigating the political landscape to accomplish results. Demonstrate effective collaboration with FAB Engineering to improve equipment metrics for the factory Participate in mechanical assembly and disassembly, daily documentation, and continuous improvement projects to improve equipment performance for all areas including bottleneck areas. Skills and Qualifications Here's What You'll Need: Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing Technical knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment Competent and experienced in oral and written communication skills. Experience in performing Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition vacuum line issue troubleshooting The current base salary range for this role is between $26.00 - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
