Job Description and Responsibilities The Engineering Co-op Student will work with the Maintenance Team at our Red Deer facility. This position will begin in the January term. As a member of the Maintenance Team, they will participate in projects and support the work of the department. The role will provide entry-level work under close supervision to start, with tasks increasing in complexity/responsibility as the term goes on. Requirements Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Materials preferred) Complete first year of engineering program. Self starter. Past experience in a manufacturing /industrial environment. Strong academic performance, that demonstrates drive and dedication. Enrolled in Coop degree program Able to interpret basic engineering drawings Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills. Willingness to learn and grow alongside with others Self-starter, with leadership potential Proficient in MS Office Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
