- After Care Monday through Friday between 2 pm to 6 pm (depending on location)
Job Description
Apollo After School provides school-based after-school care and enrichment programs. We’re seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and caring individuals passionate about working with children. A degree is not required; relevant experience or a related degree is valued.
Bring Learning to Life: Your Responsibilities
- Create a positive learning environment and lead engaging activities.
- Support classroom curriculum and weekly lesson plans.
- Ensure student safety and security.
- Maintain schedules, routines, and curriculum.
- Engage students through enthusiasm, patience, and strong teaching skills.
- Assist students with homework.
What You’ll Bring to the Apollo Team
- Ability to command respect and cooperation in an elementary classroom.
- Confidence to run a classroom alone.
- Applicants must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A team player who can collaborate with peers.
- Ability to assess and solve problems associated with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to create and maintain a fun, caring, and responsive educational environment.
- Minimum of one year working with school-age youth, ages 4-10 in a school/after-school setting.

Physical Environment:
