Customer Service Representative - Tobago.

Job Summary

Primarily responsible for providing effective client service for all internal and external clients, by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products as well as team members within the Group.  Must partner with the financial advisors to provide clients with service as outlined in the company’s policies and

procedures, address client’s issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.

Primary Responsibilities:                                                                             

1. Markets our Group’s products and services to clients.
2. Processes applications for all new and renewal lines of business.
3. Process all Data Entry for all Maritime General lines of business
4. Processes client’s policy information requests and resolve client’s queries.
5. Collects requests and documents required for processing of policy loans, surrenders, refunds, and dividends, maturing policies, all claims and other such requests.
6. Partners with the financial advisors to meet and exceed client’s service expectations.
7. Processes all cash transactions for the Group.
8. Ensures that each transaction is fully completed to the client’s satisfaction.
9. Telephone services – handling queries, relaying messages.
10. Contributes to the establishment of teamwork and team spirit.
11. Practices conservation techniques to ensure retention and continuance of business within the Group.

Secondary Responsibilities                                                                          

1. Ensures that all outstanding requirements are submitted for each client transaction.
2. Prepares client information and reports on un-serviced policyholders.
3. Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or client’s concerns.
4. Assists in projects that may be planned from time to time.

Qualifications

Education

Minimum 5 CSEC passes inclusive of Grade 1 or 2  in Mathematics and English A and

8 CAPE passes (full certificate) or an equivalent diploma or professional certificate

Experience

Experience in Customer or Client Service
