Supported by an extensive fleet of construction machinery and on-road vehicles, the company recognizes that reliable equipment and effective maintenance operations are essential to project success.

The organization is committed to developing its people, improving operational performance, and creating opportunities for long-term career advancement. It is seeking a hands-on fleet leader who can strengthen shop operations, improve equipment uptime, and ensure maintenance teams have the resources and direction needed to succeed.

About the Position

The Heavy Equipment Fleet Supervisor will oversee daily maintenance activities, shop productivity, and personnel management across a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment and commercial vehicles. • Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet maintenance demands and operational performance targets.
  • Conduct employee coaching, performance reviews, and individual development planning.
  • Coordinate foremen's schedules and approve vacation requests to maintain shop coverage.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and a safety-focused approach to all maintenance activities.

Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct monthly inspections to identify and address workplace safety and environmental concerns.
  • Reinforce preventive maintenance procedures, repair standards, and established operating practices.
  • Support TPR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aimed at strengthening shop efficiency and performance.
  • Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and compliance reporting.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with operations and scheduling teams to ensure equipment is available when and where projects require it.
  • Work with fleet management to maintain consistent maintenance standards and achieve performance objectives.
  • Evaluate recommended repairs and maintenance strategies based on cost, equipment condition, and operational requirements.
  • Review and approve mechanic and technician timecards.
  • Communicate maintenance priorities, equipment issues, and resource requirements to relevant stakeholders.
