Your Role
While we all collaborate to provide services to clients, we all play different roles to make this happen. You’ll contribute by:
- Collaborating with other team members to provide timely high quality healthcare service delivery and exceptional client experience.
- Having meticulous attention to detail in your work.
- Being highly client service focused
Prescription & Dispensing Support
- Prepare and package prescriptions under pharmacist and/or pharmacy technician supervision
- Input accurate patient and prescription data into pharmacy software
- Process refill requests and third-party billing
Client Service & Experience
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist
- Collect prescription information accurately
- Handle cash and card transactions, assist with OTC product inquiries
Inventory Management
- Receive, stock, and organize medications and health supplies
- Track expiration dates and manage returns or waste in compliance with regulations
- Monitor stock levels and help with order preparation
Administrative Duties
- Maintain patient records and filing systems
- Assist in managing faxes and coordinating follow-ups
In addition to what makes you unique, there are a few basics that we require for this role:
- Previous community pharmacy experience is preferred
- A passion for community pharmacy practice
- Dedication to client care and making people’s lives better
