Responsibilities
Customer Service & After-Sales Support
Handle after-sales enquiries, covering commercial, administrative and operational aspects of road transport using curtainsider trucks.
Communicate with customers by email and telephone regarding rates and charges, loading and unloading arrangements, transport details and other enquiries.
Provide customers with clear and accurate information and ensure their requests are handled efficiently.
Maintain a professional and customer-oriented approach when dealing with questions, complaints and operational issues.
Complaint Management & Follow-up
Gather all relevant information required to investigate customer complaints.
Ensure appropriate follow-up of each case and forward complaints to the relevant Operations and Invoicing departments.
Coordinate with the relevant internal teams to ensure complaints are handled efficiently.
Keep track of ongoing cases and ensure that the necessary information is communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
Operational Coordination & Problem-solving
Independently investigate operational enquiries and identify appropriate solutions.
Liaise with the Dispatch team or consult the Planning department when necessary to obtain the required information.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensure an effective flow of information.
Contribute to smooth daily operations by providing accurate information and ensuring timely follow-up of customer requests.
Profile
Education & Experience
You hold a bachelor's degree or have equivalent professional experience.
You have at least 2 years of experience in the transport sector, ideally in a customer service role.
Experience in customer service within the road freight transport sector, specifically involving curtainsider trucks rather than container transport, is a strong asset.
You have a good understanding of customer service processes and the operational aspects of road transport.
Languages
You are proficient in Dutch, English and French, both spoken and written.

You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable interacting with customers by email and telephone.
You are accurate, detail-oriented and well organised.
