Join Saxo’s Market Data & Exchange Relations team and take ownership in an area connecting markets, technology and commercial relationships. About the role This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of financial markets, market data, exchanges and technology in an international environment. You will gain broad exposure to the financial markets value chain and work across multiple asset classes, including equities, futures, options and bonds. The position involves collaboration across Saxo's international organisation, including commercial, operational, technology, finance and other specialist teams. You will also engage directly with exchanges and external data providers. Your responsibilities Your responsibilities will include a combination of contract management, operational and commercial, including: Managing and maintaining relationships with market data vendors and exchanges, including licensing requirements and usage rights Negotiating, reviewing and maintaining market data licensing and vendor agreements, including commercial terms, permitted use and redistribution rights Acting as a point of contact for exchanges, vendors and other external partners Working with internal teams on billing, budgeting and reporting Monitoring and analysing market data usage, licensing permissions, entitlements and reporting obligations Supporting appropriate and compliant use of licensed market data across the organisation, in line with exchange and vendor licensing terms Providing market data licensing expertise and guidance to internal projects, new products and initiatives Managing day-to-day enquiries from internal and external stakeholders Supporting the ongoing development of processes and controls within the Market Data & Exchange Relations area The scope and level of ownership can be adapted to your experience. Your profile We are interested in candidates with experience from market data, financial markets, exchanges, trading, financial services or a related field. You may already be an experienced market data professional, or you may have developed relevant knowledge in another area of the financial sector and see market data as your next specialisation. We expect that you: Have relevant professional experience within financial services, market data or a related environment Have an interest in financial markets and how data supports trading and investment services Are comfortable working with contracts, data, processes and multiple stakeholders Take a structured and reliable approach to your work and can manage competing priorities Communicate effectively with both specialist and non-specialist stakeholders Are comfortable working with Excel, datasets and presentation tools and can learn new systems Can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Are comfortable working in English in an international organisation Experience working directly with market data vendors, stock exchanges, market data licensing, usage rights, redistribution, entitlements, reporting obligations or market data agreements would be valuable, but candidates with transferable experience from the wider financial sector are also encouraged to apply. An international role with broad market exposure This position provides an opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of how financial-market data moves from exchanges and providers into the systems and services used by investors and market participants. You will work with colleagues and external partners across markets and functions, giving you exposure to both the commercial and operational aspects of market data.
