Reporting directly to the Cloud Operations Manager, the Senior Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions that support the organisation’s strategic goals and business operations. You will be pivotal in shaping our cloud strategy, optimising cloud performance and will drive the modernisation, migration, and optimisation of applications and services to Azure, while also supporting multi-cloud environments as required. A key responsibility is the management and governance of St Vincent’s Azure tenancy, ensuring security, compliance, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency across the platform. Stand Out Points Full-time permanent position Hybrid working arrangement – office based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane Not-for-Profit salary packaging – earn more for doing the job you love About the role We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to deliver, operate and continuously improve our Azure cloud platform supporting Tier 0 clinical and enterprise systems. This is a hands-on senior technical role for an engineer who enjoys ownership, problem-solving and working at scale in a regulated, mission-critical environment.
