Cost Competitiveness: Optimizing transportation mode to ensure timely schedules and cost competitive solutions. Customs & Compliance: In compliance with import/export laws manage customs declarations. Documentation: Preparing and verifying required documentation like invoices, certificates of origin, transport documents and customs forms. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks like delays, damage, or non-compliance, and managing insurance for shipments. Requirements Logistics or commercial education or related field Experience from transport booking services Knowledge of customs legislation (e.g., inward processing, Intrastat statistics) Familiarity with international delivery terms (INCOTERMS) Letter of Credit is seen as an advantage for the position. Proficiency in IT systems Language skills: English is essential; other languages are considered an advantage.
