David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading global provider of customer experience and business process outsourcing services that is seeking to onboard a Spanish-speaking Customer Support Representative to join their team in Lisbon. The successful candidate will provide customer support for an international financial technology company specialising in digital payments and point-of-sale solutions, assisting merchants with account management, technical troubleshooting, payment-related enquiries, and product support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and friendly manner
Assist merchants with account creation, onboarding, and general account management
Provide technical support for payment applications, card readers, and related accessories
Resolve enquiries related to transactions, deposits, payment processing, and activity reports
Support customers with product orders, logistics, and delivery-related questions
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services when appropriate
Troubleshoot technical and operational issues to ensure a smooth customer experience
Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions in internal systems
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex enquiries and ensure high customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fluent Spanish and English, both written and spoken
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
Good technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic software and hardware issues
Comfortable using computers, digital platforms, and customer management systems
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Commercial awareness and ability to identify relevant upselling opportunities
Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team
Previous experience in Customer Support, Technical Support, Payments, or FinTech is considered an advantage
Willingness to work on-site in Lisbon
Flexibility to work rotational shifts Monday to Sunday, between 15:00 and 00:00.
