What You Can Expect This internship provides hands-on lab and production experience, mentorship from industry experts, and the opportunity to contribute to the next generation of products. Interns will work closely with engineering and production teams and spend significant time on the manufacturing floor. · Structured, project-based program focusing on skill set growth, technology and systems knowledge, business acumen, and professional development · Regular coaching and feedback sessions with mentors and supervisors · Leadership opportunities through activities and presentations · Connect with leadership team through various events · Exposure to other Apogee locations and business units · Partner with other interns through projects, community events, and social activities What You’ll Do · Work alongside logistics, planning, and production teams on real projects. · Support the planning, coordination, and movement of materials. · Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. · Assist with tracking inventory and material levels. · Help coordinate shipments and deliveries. · Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues. · Assisting with purchasing and supplier communication. · Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. What We’re Looking For · Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at a four year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or a related engineering field. · Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at the time of the internship. · Minimum 3.0 GPA. · Interest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering work. · Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. · Ability to work effectively with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams. · Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and spending time on the production floor. · Strong communication and organizational skills. · Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
