Delta - Remote, United States of America

Salesforce Solution Architect.

CONTRACTREMOTESENIOR LEVELENGINEERING
Purpose  Delta Faucet Company is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to serve as the design authority for our Salesforce ecosystem within the Channel, Experience & Portfolio function of IT. This is a customer-side architecture role — you will partner closely with business leaders to shape the platform according to our roadmap, own how it evolves over multiple years, and guide its direction beyond how any single project is coded.  Our environment spans B2B, B2C and B2B2C: wholesale distributors, trade professionals, retail partners, e-commerce and direct consumer service, supported by Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and CPQ/Revenue Cloud, integrated to ERP, PIM/DAM and analytics platforms. You will act as trusted advisor to business partners, set the architectural direction, and hold internal and third-party delivery teams accountable to that direction.  You will succeed here if you enjoy owning the long-term integrity of a platform inside the company that runs it. What Success Looks Like in Year One  Within 90 days: You have documented the current-state Salesforce architecture, data model and integration landscape, and identified the top technical-debt risks with a remediation point of view.  Within 6 months: You are the recognized design authority on all Channel & Experience initiatives — no significant design decision, internal or vendor-proposed, moves forward without your review.  Within 12 months: A published multi-year platform architecture roadmap is in place and aligned to enterprise architecture standards; measurable reduction in custom code and rework on delivered releases; business partners come to you early, not after requirements are frozen.  Key Responsibilities and Duties  Design Authority: Own end-to-end solution design across multiple Salesforce Clouds — object and data model, security and sharing, automation strategy, and integration patterns — balancing near-term delivery against long-term maintainability.  Roadmap Ownership: Translate business strategy into a multi-year platform architecture roadmap; recommend build vs. buy vs. configure, and sequence capability delivery accordingly.  Stakeholder Engagement: Act as trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, Customer Solutions and channel partners; challenge requirements constructively and translate them into technical specifications.  Technical Leadership: Guide internal and partner development teams on best practices, data modeling, automation and API integration; lead design reviews rather than perform hands-on build.  Vendor Governance: Provide architectural oversight of third-party delivery partners and systems integrators — validate that proposed solutions leverage out-of-the-box functionality wherever possible, and hold external partners accountable to industry best practices, security protocols and our standards.  Documentation & Governance: Maintain architecture artifacts and decision records; establish and enforce standards that minimize technical debt.  Emerging Capability: Evaluate new platform capability — including Data Cloud, generative and agentic AI such as Agentforce — and form a defensible point of view on where it creates value while protecting brand, privacy and governance standards.  Validation: Use prototypes and proof-of-concepts, built personally or directed through the team, to de-risk significant design decisions.  Required Experience and Skills  Experience: 8+ years working with the Salesforce platform, including 2+ years as the accountable architect on at least two full-lifecycle, multi-cloud implementations.  Multi-Cloud Design Depth: Demonstrated design ownership across at least three of: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud.  Core Platform Knowledge: Deep command of data modeling, security and sharing architecture, declarative automation strategy, Lightning Experience and integration patterns (REST/SOAP, event-driven, middleware).  Technical Fluency: Sufficient depth in Cross-cloud integration, Apex, LWC and API development to review, challenge and govern the work of developers — hands-on coding is not the primary function of this role.  Governance Judgment: Track record of saying no to unnecessary customization and defending that position with business stakeholders and vendors.  Strategic Thinking: Ability to design solutions that align to long-term business goals and enterprise architecture standards.  Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with a proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical and executive audiences.  Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.  Autonomy: Executes responsibilities with limited oversight required.  Preferred Experience  Experience as an in-house Salesforce architect at a customer organization or consulting experience in a long-term client engagement. B2B, B2C or B2B2C commerce with distributor, dealer or trade-professional channel models.  Manufacturing or consumer products industry background.  Experience governing a systems integrator or managed-service partner, including reviewing SOW-driven deliverables.  Practical exposure to generative or agentic AI on the Salesforce platform, including Agentforce, Einstein or Data Cloud-driven use cases. This is valued and will be developed on the job — it is not a screening requirement.  Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, PIM/DAM or enterprise analytics platforms.  Certifications  Architect-track certification preferred, not required. Demonstrated design ownership will always outweigh credentials.  Preferred: Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or B2B/B2C Solution Architect.  Commonly held: Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I.  Why Delta Faucet Company  Delta Faucet Company is one of the largest and most recognized brands in kitchen and bath plumbing fixtures, and part of Masco Corporation. Our Salesforce footprint is expanding rapidly across sales, marketing and customer service, with a multi-year investment roadmap already funded.
