Objective of the position: Objective: Ensure the effective execution of quality strategies by leading teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering sustainable quality performance that supports operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Purpose: Provide leadership and direction for quality-related activities to ensure compliance with customer expectations, company standards, and regulatory requirements. The Quality Supervisor partners with cross-functional teams to improve performance, prevent defects, resolve quality issues, and strengthen customer confidence throughout the product lifecycle. Main Functions: - Lead and develop the assigned quality team, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale and environmental objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. -Monitor and drive quality performance by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, and implementing actions to improve product, process, supplier, and customer quality results. -Coordinate problem-solving and corrective action activities, including containment, root cause analysis, and verification of corrective and preventive actions to ensure sustainable solutions. -Partner with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Suppliers, Logistics, Customer Support, and other relevant areas, to prevent quality issues, improve processes, and achieve business objectives. -Ensure compliance with quality management systems, customer requirements, and regulatory standards through audits, reviews, inspections, and continuous process evaluations. #Trucks Work Location Opportunity Daimler Trucks AG is firmly committed to developing a work environment that supports empowerment and inclusion for our current and future employees.
