Full-Time | Monday-Saturday Flat Rate Pay: $17.00-$30.00+ per Flagged Hour, Plus Production Bonus Location: Coon Rapids, MN Training & Career Development Opportunities What You’ll Do As a Light Duty Technician, you’ll work alongside an experienced service team while building your technical skills and completing routine maintenance and light automotive repairs. Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance. Inspect brakes, tires, batteries, filters, belts, hoses, and other vehicle components. Complete multipoint vehicle inspections. Perform basic brake, suspension, steering, and light mechanical repairs based on experience and training. Assist with identifying vehicle maintenance and repair needs. Follow repair orders, manufacturer procedures, and dealership safety standards. Accurately document services and repairs completed. Safely operate vehicles, hand tools, lifts, and shop equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Participate in ongoing technical training and certification opportunities as you grow. What You’ll Bring Entry-level automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred, but not required. Automotive technical school, trade school, quick lube, tire shop, or other hands-on mechanical experience is a plus. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems. Familiarity with oil changes, tires, brakes, batteries, and routine maintenance is preferred. Ability to safely use basic hand tools and automotive shop equipment. Willingness to learn dealership and manufacturer repair processes. Ability to follow repair orders, technical procedures, and safety guidelines. Interest in continuing your automotive education and pursuing ASE and manufacturer certifications. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Total Rewards This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which include Flat Rate: $17.00- $30/ + production bonus Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
