Building Location: 32nd Avenue Building Department: 3012410 HOSPITAL PHARMACY - 32ND HOSP Job Description: This position will assist in the timely dispensing of medications to patients ensuring accurate labeling and in compliance with all legal requirements, regulatory agency standards, third party contracts and Essentia Health Policy and Procedures. This position is also responsible for the preparation of sterile products (including non-hazardous and hazardous) using appropriate aseptic technique while adhering to USP 797 requirements. This position is also accountable for performing bulk compounding and packaging duties to ensure uninterrupted supply and in accordance with Board of Pharmacy rules, while adhering to USP 795 requirements for non-sterile and USP 797/800 for sterile products. This position will also participate in clinical patient education and the completion of accurate patient medical histories. In addition, this position will identify additional opportunities to improve patient care and offer suggestions to improve the performance of the pharmacy department. Education Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited Pharmacy program.
