Als Principal Engineer (m/w/d) Mechanical Design für Vertical Plating entwickeln und verantworten Sie komplexe mechanische Komponenten, Baugruppen und Module für anspruchsvolle nasschemische Prozessanlagen. Dabei verbinden Sie Ihre umfassende Erfahrung mit Galvanik- und Nassprozessanlagen mit disziplinübergreifendem Verständnis, um robuste, prozesssichere und kosteneffiziente konstruktive Lösungen zu entwickeln. Sie arbeiten am Standort Feucht im Bereich Forschung und Entwicklung, definieren projektübergreifende technische Standards, entscheiden komplexe Konstruktionsfragen und begleiten Projekte von der Konzeptphase bis zur Serienreife. In dieser Rolle übernehmen Sie die fachliche Leitung multidisziplinärer Entwicklungsvorhaben und fungieren international als technische Fachinstanz. Ihre Verantwortung Technische Verantwortung für die Entwicklung und Optimierung vertikaler Nassprozessanlagen mit Fokus auf Prozessqualität, Zuverlässigkeit, Kosteneffizienz und Anwenderfreundlichkeit übernehmen. Konstruktion von Bauteilen, Baugruppen und Modulen unter Berücksichtigung von Fertigung, Werkstoffen sowie Korrosions- und Medienbeständigkeit; Festlegung technischer Standards einschließlich Toleranzmanagement. Auslegung von Pumpen- und Rohrleitungssystemen inklusive Druckverlustberechnung und Strömungsanalyse. Fachliche Leitung von Machbarkeitsstudien einschließlich der technischen und wirtschaftlichen Bewertung von Lösungskonzepten sowie Definition von Systemarchitekturen für zukünftige Produktgenerationen. Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung von Versuchen; Erstellung belastbarer Berichte und technischer Dokumentationen. Weiterentwicklung bestehender Plattformen durch DFMA‑Ansätze, Risikoanalysen (z. B. FMEA) und Design Reviews. Fachliche Anleitung und Unterstützung von Kollegen durch Reviews, Mentoring und projektübergreifenden Wissensaustausch. Ihre Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium; alternativ langjährige, fundierte Erfahrung im Anlagenbau für Galvanik- oder nasschemische Prozessanlagen. Umfassende Erfahrung mit Konstruktion, Entwicklung und Charakterisierung nasschemischer Prozessanlagen sowie in der Definition projektübergreifender technischer Standards und Systemarchitekturen. Sicherer Umgang mit Autodesk Inventor und PRO.FILE im täglichen Arbeitsablauf. Sehr gute analytische Fähigkeiten und sicherer Umgang mit Entwicklungsmethoden wie DFMA und FMEA. Erfahrung in der fachlichen Leitung internationaler, interdisziplinärer Entwicklungsvorhaben sowie Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen. Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse sowie sicheres Englisch in der technischen Kommunikation in Wort und Schrift.
