THE OPPORTUNITY: Associate – Data Operations - Yardi In this role, you will be part of the team, helping build capabilities from the ground up while contributing to a business of significant scale and strategic importance. This is an opportunity to: • Build and shape a new capability within a globally recognized platform • Work closely with senior stakeholders in a leading real estate company • Combine the best of startup energy and institutional strength • Be part of a culture that values ownership, continuous improvement, and real impact ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Serve as a technical data owner for Yardi Voyager 7S/Elevate and related Yardi products. • Design, build, and maintain custom Yardi reports using SQL and Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting (YSR). • Perform and support ETL processes, including imports, exports, and reconciliations across systems. • Maintain and enhance automated processes, including: o Scheduled reports and exports o System communications (letters, notifications) o Stored procedures and background jobs • Lead property onboarding, data conversions, and ongoing master data management activities. • Act as a Yardi data and table structure SME, supporting cross departmental initiatives and analytics use cases. • Partner with finance, accounting, and platform teams as a technical resource for projects and enhancements. • Develop and maintain standardized internal documentation covering: o Data update processes o ETL workflows o Approval matrices and data controls • Ensure all work complies with IT General Controls (ITGC) and formal change management procedures. • Support Power BI administration and troubleshooting, including dataset refreshes and data validation. • Participate in research, design, development, and testing of new Yardi functionality. • Mentor or train junior team members on established Yardi data processes and standards. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. (Three year degree acceptable with relevant experience.) • 5–7 years of hands on experience working with Yardi Voyager 7S/Elevate in a production environment. • Strong technical understanding of Yardi table structures, schemas, and data relationships. • Intermediate to advanced experience in: o SQL report development and troubleshooting o Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting (YSR) • Practical experience with ETL concepts, including data imports, exports, transformations, and reconciliation. • Experience supporting data quality, automation, and reporting for real estate or finance platforms. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail. • Ability to communicate clearly and work directly with global (US based) stakeholders. • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating within a distributed, in house team. Preferred / Nice to Have Qualifications • Experience supporting commercial real estate or property accounting data (industrial real estate a plus). • Working knowledge of one or more of the following: o Python (for data analysis or automation) o MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server o Power BI (datasets, refreshes, troubleshooting) o Advanced Excel • Experience applying data analytics to real estate, finance, or asset intensive industries. • Familiarity with ITGC, audit controls, and formal change management processes. • Prior experience in a captive offshore / Global In House Center (GIC) model. • Yardi data is reliable, well documented, and scalable across the enterprise. • Reporting and data processes are increasingly automated and standardized.
