Clermont Open Cut is currently seeking experienced Mobile Maintenance Superintendent to join our dynamic Engineering team onsite. Located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin, Clermont Open Cut is a high performing truck & shovel operation that produces 12 million tonnes of coal per annum. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will offer variety and opportunity to the right individual. In this role you will be responsible for: Leading the Mobile Maintenance team to safely deliver the annual maintenance plan by optimising activities and continually improving the reliability and availability of sites mobile equipment Leading a team of 6 Maintenance Supervisors to safely deliver and execute the maintenance strategy onsite Engagement with internal and external stakeholders Management of the mobile maintenance budget and forecasting process which supports the effective cost management of the Maintenance Department Requirements for the role include: Mechanical/Electrical Trade qualification or tertiary qualifications essential 5+ years’ experience in heavy industry/workshop environments S123 & G2 qualifications Demonstrated experience in leading a team to deliver high performance outcomes safely Contractor Management experience Strong communication skills Proactive attitude to safety, a strong work ethic, and leadership capabilities QLD Drivers Licence This role requires a safety conscious candidate prepared to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement and who can demonstrate experience in implementing best practise using a hands-on approach.
