Internship – EUV CSCM UIR.

INTERNSHIPINTERN
Introduction ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon. Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) UIR is the supply chain organization supporting EUV Upgrades, Installations and Relocations at customer sites across US. The team helps prepare and execute scheduled customer events by coordinating material requirements, monitoring material availability, addressing supply constraints, and supporting the flow of parts and tools needed for project execution. The team works closely with Customer Support and other supply chain partners throughout the event. Your assignment The CSCM Intern will support the EUV UIR Customer Supply Chain team through a defined supply chain improvement assignment focused on material availability, planning, and operational process effectiveness. The intern will analyze supply chain data and current processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop practical recommendations. The assignment will provide hands-on exposure to customer supply chain operations, data-driven problem solving, material planning, and process improvement. The intern will be expected to translate findings into clear recommendations and present the outcome of the assignment to the team. Specific projects will be tailored to match the education/experience level of the intern as well as the interns learning objectives for the summer. Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship. Past projects have included: Identifying and documenting goals and targets (KPIs). Evaluating current processes and updating documentation to adhere to continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN/6 Sigma). Creating data visualizations to identify potential opportunities for automation (Power BI/ Copilot). Collaborating with CSCM colleagues from other areas to identify Best Known Methods (BKMs). Participating in projects to improve performance of material flow. Your profile Education and experience Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Logistics, or a related field. Interest in supply chain, material planning, data analysis, and process improvement. Experience using Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data; experience gained through coursework, academic projects, or previous internships is acceptable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and translate findings into practical recommendations. Good written and verbal communication skills and an interest in working with cross-functional teams. Experience or interest in using AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to support data analysis, research, problem solving, and effective communication. Ability to apply new digital tools and AI thoughtfully to improve efficiency and generate insights.
